Dave's super clean Tesla Model S swapped Mercedes 300CD is back on the channel! Last time you saw Dave's EV converted Benz, we were putting that AMG replica wide body kit on it, along with a gorgeous new set of wheels.
Well this week we're focusing on performance instead of cosmetics with a huge battery upgrade for Dave's EV swap Mercedes Benz. We're saying goodbye to the Nissan leaf batter array that's been powering the Model S motor and installing a super high tech Fellten batter pack set. The first step is ripping out the batteries we have in there now. That means hoisting out the set that we have in the engine bay, along with pulling out the set that we have in the trunk.
Then then next step is popping open that giant crate we got from Fellten and seeing what we have! We got ourselves a replacement pack for the trunk that will fit in there just like the fuel cell we put in our LS swapped Mercedes. Then we have a much larger pack that we're going to put in the engine bay. And the coolest part about it is that it's shaped just like a small block engine. So all we have to do to get it mounted is fabricate some small block style motor mounts!
