You might be surprised just how far of a shot I'm willing to take on a wild animal. I practice out to 120 yards all year long to improve my effective range as I never want to make an animal suffer from a bad shot because of my ignorance or lack of ability. I constantly tinker with my set up to achieve the best bow/arrow tune and maximum forgiveness possible. That does not justify myself to shoot at an animal at such a distance. As ethical bowhunters, we all have to make decisions on the shots we are willing to take. For me, if I'm not 100% confident in making a perfect shot, I'm not taking it. What's your choice?
