*️⃣Note: In subsequent productions of The Solve It Squad, we changed the “witches don’t have penises” line to “ghouls don’t have penises.” Since witches are usually assumed to be women, the original line wrongly denies trans identities. And the fact is: gender identity has nothing to do with sex assigned at birth. Thusly, we clarified the joke to be at Gwen’s expense: it’s absurd that to her middle-school brain, the key to the case was a paranormal creature’s genitals, and not the fact that the creature isn’t real.
