As John concludes his first epistle, we as Christians are reminded that we can have confidence in three particular areas: eternal life, answered prayer, and Divine protection. Just as John's congregation needed to be reminded of these realities, we must know this as well. Let us therefore guard ourselves from false teaching that would pull us away from the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
