The Halloween series of movies has become a staple of American cinematic culture helping give birth to the slasher movies in decades to follow. The 1978 Halloween takes places in Haddonfield, Illinois. In real life, Charleston South Carolina stands in for Haddonfield in the 2018 sequel. In this video I’m going to give a short review of the movie, show some behind the scenes footage of how they made it and show you the real-life locations of where they filmed the movie in Charleston.
