Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has extended its 5-year, 0-interest financing plan for the Nio main brand to March 31, after the purchase incentive expired yesterday.
Customers who pay a deposit to purchase a Nio-branded vehicle between March 1 and March 31 are eligible for the 5-year 0-interest financing plan, the electric vehicle (EV) maker said today in an announcement posted on its mobile app.
Under the plan, the down payment for a Nio vehicle is as low as RMB 45,600 ($6,260), with interest savings of up to RMB 44,300, the company said.Nio has put together a table showing the minimum down payment and interest savings for its different models under the program.
The Nio brand currently has nine models -- ET9, ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring. Deliveries of the ET9, which was launched in December last year, are expected to begin at the end of this month. This month's purchase offers apply to the ET5, ET5 Touring, ES6, EC6, ET7, EC7, ES8, while the ES7 and ET9 are not included.
