From Hinault dominance in the early 80s, to the charismatic Laurent Fignon in 1983 and 1984 before Bernard Hinault made TDF history with his win in 1985.
Greg Lemonds first Tour de France victory in 1986 before his terrible hunting accident which kept him out of cycling for 2 years before his incredible and maybe the most memorable Tour de France win of all time in 1989. Unforgetable scenes from the last time trial, leaving a crushed Fignon lying on the pavement of Champs Elysees, losing with only 8 seconds.
