Blue Origin launched the powerful New Glenn rocket for the first time from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Jan. 16, 2025.

The first stage of the rocket failed to land on a droneship in the Atlantic Ocean and was lost at sea. The primary object of delivering the "Blue Ring" payload to orbit was successful.
