Mindful Listening
Sounds are everywhere and all around us, the buzz of a mobile phone, the beeping of the microwave oven, washing machine or traffic.
Just like the noise inside our minds, external noises often go unnoticed. Practicing mindful listening trains our brains to concentrate on particular sounds.
Regular practice helps us focus our attention on sounds in a thoughtful way, increasing social awareness and effective communication skills.
