South Korea politics

Thousands of rival South Korean protesters have rallied in the capital a day after a failed attempt to arrest the country’s suspended president, Yoon Suk Yeol, for imposing a short-lived martial law decree that led to his impeachment. Notably, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken held talks with his South Korean counterpart on Monday, the same day a warrant expired to arrest the suspended President. What is the trajectory of South Korea's political turmoil, and what impact does it have on the region and beyond?
