#GS1 India is a standards organisation set up by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, and apex trade bodies comprising CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, FIEO, IMC, BIS, IIP, Spices Board, and APEDA to spread awareness and provide guidance on the adoption of global standards by Indian industry and government on barcodes and RFID.
In order to support the industry, GS1 India has developed a standards-based DataKart Trace service that provides seamless supply chain traceability, provides end-to-end visibility, and can be used by multiple industry sectors.
