To ease the livelihoods of residents and bring smiles to the faces of the vulnerable, the Mushin Local Government has launched a multi-faceted empowerment programme.
The aged, widows, and economically disadvantaged residents converged on the council secretariat to receive food items, cash stipends, and Ankara fabrics.
The council chairman, Emmanuel Bamigboye, stated that the initiative aims to promote the well-being of the elderly and give back to the community, particularly in preparation for the Christmas and New Year festivities.
