Have you ever paid extra for a phone just because of its color?
My friend almost did—₹2,000 more for a white phone instead of blue.
A 💳credit card was offering ₹3,000 off only on the blue model. Strange, right?
Mental accounting hits us in moments like these. We see color, design, or brand, and suddenly, we’re willing to spend more, even though it adds 0️⃣ value.
Here’s the funny part: when you search “Nothing Phone 2a” on Flipkart, the less discounted option pops up first. And what’s worse?
We all slap a protective 🛡️case on it anyway! So does 🙆color even matter?
I faced the same thing on Amazon last year when I bought my iPhone 13. Pink cost ₹1,100 more than red. Even though I liked the pink, I went with red. A small saving, but it felt right.
Have you ever paid extra for something that didn’t really matter? Let me know in the comments.
