Medical Waste Management - Surakarta City

Surakarta City Government offers an opportunity to develop Medical Waste Management in Putri Cempo Landfill, Surakarta City, Central Java. Due to the growth of health care facilities, Surakarta City produces more than 7 ton of Medical Waste every day. However, the huge number of medical waste is not accompanied by the availability of the company which can process the medical waste. The existing medical waste managements are currently overwhelmed in dealing with the increasing amount of medical waste every year. Therefore, with the construction of a medical waste management in Putri Cempo Surakarta City, it will greatly affect the efficiency of transportation prices, so as to reduce the costs that must be borne by the producer or health facility
