Tomar or Tomara is a tribe of the Gujjar (Gurjar) community of India and Pakistan. They are mostly Hindus, but there are also Sikhs and Muslims in the Kashmir and Punjab regions. They are mainly found in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Delhi. There are also Tomar Gujjars in the Pakistani province of Punjab and Azad Kashmir. They have several villages in the Pakistani Punjab, including in the districts of Gujarat and Rawalpindi.
