An invitation to participate in innovation isn’t the same as creating pathways for true access. Historically, leaders often have declined to actively engage a number of already under-represented communities. To address this, Roxbury Innovation Center leads programs aimed at improving overall equity and economic mobility. We are teaming up with our sister location, Venture Café Cambridge, to host a virtual panel on “Equity and Innovation” that will include thought-leaders and experts from the Roxbury community to discuss how we are creating equitable programs for BIPOC innovators and entrepreneurs.
