Hello Friends! welcome back to the garden! Today we are working on a 15x30 in gallery wrapped canvas. I was inspired by the beautiful work of Molly from Molly's Artistry and her Brightline Series of Rainbow Swipes.
I am using This Little Piggy pigments in a pouring medium of Untinted housepaint and JoSonja Varnish, and a Cell Activator of Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam Paint. My basecoat is not housepaint, it Amsterdam acrylic paint and Liquitex Gloss Medium and American Floetrol.
I wanted to see how the Deep Base pouring medium would react on Acrylic paint as a basecoat. Let's get started!

I decided to do two colors to create a split base, Permanent Blue Violet and White.
I put them down first, then layer my colors on top in small segments. I layer my palette knife with both Blue Violet Cell Activator and White Cell Activator, then swipe. I tilt it to get the composition I like.
