Stepping into magic and into the Disneyland resort for a full park weekday walkthrough of Disneyland! On this first of the month Disney walking tour, we meet Princess Jasmine, catch Mickey and Friends for the Happiest March on Earth at Sleeping Beauty Castle, look at new Christmas merchandise in some of the Disney shops, and meet Woody and Jessie in Frontierland! We'll look at the bare Main Street as we transition from Halloween into Christmas, and then look at some of the newly added Christmas decorations scattered throughout the park. We begin our first of the month tour of Disneyland with what some may call the first ride of the day...the Disneyland tram! We pass Downtown Disney on our way to the Main Entrance Plaza, exit the tram and make our way past World of Disney towards the Disneyland Esplanade. Immediately after stepping into Disneyland, we run into Princess Jasmine! We love Princess Jasmine and after saying hello, head into Town Square, where we immediately notice the lack of Halloween decorations. The winking Mickey pumpkin is gone, as are the Halloween wreaths and orange bunting. We head down Main Street U.S.A. towards the Partners Statue and towards the snow-covered castle where we catch the Happiest March on Earth with the Disneyland Band and Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Chip, and Dale! After the Happiest March on Earth, we greet Captain Hook before heading into the castle, opting for a look at some of the available bubble wands before heading towards the route into Frontierland. As we pass the Royal Theatre, we notice crowds have filled the benches anxiously awaiting a fairy tale. When we arrive in Frontierland, we head into the Pioneer Outfitters store for a look at some of the new Christmas merch, then head into Adventureland for some more window shopping in the Bazaar. We then head into New Orleans Square where we run into Jack and Sally on Royal Street before making our way past heavy crowds in front of the Haunted Mansion. In Bayou Country, we watch a few logs plunge into the waters of Tiana's Bayou before swinging around Ray's Beret's and hopping in line for a ride on Tiana's Bayou Adventure! After our ride on Tiana's, we head further into Bayou Country, catching the Disneyland Railroad heading past on the tracks above. We spot Eeyore at the photo spot in front of Pooh Corner and then head back out of Bayou Country on our way towards Galaxy's Edge. We opt for the route through Batuu's marketplace and find Chewie greeting guests near the Millenium Falcon before heading out of Galaxy's Edge, briefly admiring Kylo's ship before heading towards Frontierland. We love a good character duo, so are delighted to find Woody and Jessie in Frontierland before taking the trail into a crowded Fantasyland. After taking in the views of Casey Jr's Circus Train and Dumbo, we swing past Pinocchio and notice some Christmas flare has been added to the building. We catch the Evil Queen peering down from above the entrance of Snow White's Enchanted Wish and notice more Christmas decor adorning Peter Pan's Flight. We head past the Mad Tea Party and Storybook land Canal boats, catching Casey Jr's train and a story book land boat heading past as we head towards Mickey's Toontown. On the parade route, we find the Pearly Band, and as usual, stop for a bit to listen to the classic sounds of Disney before catching Merida skipping across the walkway. We arrive in Toontown and admire all the Christmas decorations as well as the overall theming of the land. We particularly love the decorations outside Mickey and Minnie's house, and after a look at some more of Toontown and a sighting of Clarabelle Cow, head back onto the parade route. As we make our way around the Matterhorn, we pause at Nemo's Lagoon and head into Tomorrowland. Swinging around Galactic Grill past the Monorail station and Autopia, we find a clear view of Space Mountain in the sunlight, and as we swing around past Alien Pizza Planet, find another nice view of the Matterhorn mountain also glimmering white in the sunlight. We arrive at the Astro Orbitor just in time to watch the rockets descend and then head towards Sleeping Beauty Castle, admiring the snowcapped peaks of this stunning and iconic Disney attraction.
