First Legal Services at Canadian Security Intelligence Service | In Our Own Words

In 1984, the first legal services were established at CSIS, which represented a new approach in security intelligence at the time. Former Deputy Minister of Justice and Deputy Attorney General of Canada, John H. Sims, responded to the challenge of this new service need for the government, and the many secret activities that it resulted in.
