Synopsis :
In Srinagar, Colonel Rayappa captures militant Wasim Khan. Meanwhile, in Tamil Nadu, 18-year-old Roja hopes her sister Shenbagam will marry Rishi, a cryptologist. Unbeknownst to Roja, Shenbagam loves another man. When Rishi proposes to Roja instead, she reluctantly accepts.
Their happiness is short-lived when Rishi is kidnapped by militants seeking to free Wasim. Determined to rescue him, Roja faces challenges, including a language barrier and government indifference. Rishi, held captive by militant leader Liaqat, tries to reason with his captors about the futility of their cause.
As Roja gains support from a sympathetic minister, the government agrees to exchange Rishi for Wasim. However, Rishi escapes with help from Liaqat's sister, and confronts Liaqat, convincing him to abandon his violent path. In a dramatic conclusion, Rishi and Roja reunite, while Wasim is imprisoned, leaving themes of love, sacrifice, and redemption in their wake.
