Thousands were killed in Turkey and Syria when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck at 4:17 a.m. Monday.
Tremors were felt as far away as Lebanon and Israel.
The number of injured is more than 14 thousand.
In Turkey, at least 2,921 people have died, and in neighboring Syria, at least 1,451 people have died.
In 3 consecutive earthquakes and 50 aftershocks, houses collapsed like a house of cards.
Aid has been extended to 20 countries, including India.
