In this edition of #thedailydoug, I'm returning to the music of Iron Maiden for our first video of 2025. On this occasion, we're paying tribute to longtime drummer Nicko McBrain, who has recently retired from active touring with the band. With their fourth album, Piece of Mind (1983), they welcomed Nicko into the band...and he's been with the band ever since. All four of these songs (Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, Flight of Icarus, and Die With Your Boots On) were first time listens for me. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!
