The second hardest piano arrangement. It was much harder than I thought and there were a lot of adjustment to the sheet music as I practice along. Still, this is the best related to my playing skill as well as arranging skill.
For the eyes, Kawai Novus NV10's appearance is the best of best and even better in video. The white keys appear way too white and feel over exposed to light but they are natural as you can compare to the black color and myself playing. The secret behind it and mirror looking piano is the result of ceramic nano coating. This stuff is amazing for every single thing and provide ultimate coated protection.
As for the sound, up until now, I only use VST to record. 99% YouTube video cover recorded by either Ivory II and Vienna Synchron Yamaha CF, meaning the internal sound engine of my piano is useless when recording and you never heard its real sound in my video.
By accident, one day as I practiced this song for hours, I noticed there was something not familiar to my ears. I realized that I turn on both piano speakers and desktop speakers. These 2 sounds blend together and produce a great semi-acoustic feeling. So, that moment changes the way I capture sound which is very complicated and involves a lot of audio processing and equalization.
I remember the principle on MIDI orchestration:
Even with only single one real acoustics instrument added to midi orchestration, the realness is increased.
The result is this. You can somehow feel there is more or less a natural ambiance to it. If you are keen enough, there is a contrast between digital recording sound and acoustic reverb. All these new flavors are fascinating. From now on, the answer to the question "how do you record piano?" is not so simple anymore. As for this sound, I call it
