Today's recipe is gujarati dish Khaman
Ingredients
Water 1 cup
Limbu na ful 1 tsp
Sugar 3 tbsp
Salt 1/2 tbsp
Oil 1.5 tbsp
Besan 2 cup
Baking soda 1 tsp
Water 1 tbsp
For tadka
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Green chilli 2 nos
Curry leaves 6-7 leaves
Water 1 cup
Sugar 3 tbsp
Coriender leaves
Method
1. In bowl add water, limbu na ful, salt, sugar, oil and mix it well.
2. Then add besan and mix it well.
3. Then rest the batter for 10 min.
4. Grease the mold with oil.
5. Add water in steamer and make sure the water is boiling.
6. After the 10 min,, in batter add baking soda and water and mix it well in one direction.
7. Add batter into greased mold and tap it twice.
8. Put the mold into steamer, steam it for 25 min on high flame.
9. After that check it with knife, make sure it come out clear then khaman is ready.
10. Cool the khaman at room temperature.
11. In kadai add oil, then add mustard seeds, green chilli, curry leaves and water, then add sugar and boil the mixture for a minute.
12.Add tadka water over the khaman add coriender leaves and mix it well. Serve the khaman.
