thanks for joining us on another video, this one is fun and chaotic with a very serious message - why wing clipping is dangerous. Wing clipping a parrot, or any other bird is no longer considered a viable method of bird keeping and is frowned upon by most people. This outdated method of ensuring your bird's "safety" is no longer acceptable and I want to help spread the word that clipping a parrot's wings is dangerous, and put's your parrot's life at risk. Wing clipping a parrot to stop it from flying into windows, clipping a parrot's wings to stop it from escaping, and cutting a parrot's flight feathers off to encourage it to bond to you are NOT good enough excuses to clip wings, and there is no way of convincing me otherwise. Under rare circumstances it may be essential to clip a parrot's wings in order to prevent injury, such as when a bird is completely blind.
