In this video, I discuss a controversial opinion: students from medical backgrounds should reconsider pursuing MBBS in India, and here's why. When I bring up the issue with the NEET exam and the Indian system of medical education, people often roast me, asking, "What will you do if you get ill?" 🩺🤔
But my concern isn't with the doctors or their knowledge; it's with the Indian system that forces students to appear for NEET without considering their ability to clear the exam.
💡 My Solution:
We need a 121% percentage requirement to apply for NEET so that only those who have the capability to clear the exam can appear for it. This would prevent students from getting trapped in the endless cycle of MBBS preparation and NEET exams, giving them a chance to explore other fields like Nursing, Pharmacy, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, or even Emergency Medicine without being pressured into following a rigid path. 📚
