The Motorola G75, launched in November 2024 for around €300, is a budget-friendly smartphone offering solid features. It has a large 6.78-inch IPS Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, though it lacks OLED’s deep blacks. Protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, the phone features a well-crafted design with a vegan leather or hard plastic back, available in Charcoal Gray, Aqua Blue, and Succulent Green. It supports dual nano SIMs or a microSD card.
Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, the Moto G75 outperforms rivals in its price range, like the G85. It runs stock Android with Moto customizations and promises five years of updates. Battery life is excellent, thanks to a 5000mAh capacity and efficient standby performance, delivering more than two days of moderate use. Charging is capped at 30W, taking about 80 minutes for a full charge.
The phone features a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens with macro capability, and a 16MP front camera. Photos are crisp but slightly oversaturated. Other highlights include a responsive fingerprint scanner, loud stereo speakers, and overcharge protection.
Despite minor drawbacks like bloatware and no OLED display, the G75 is a solid buy, especially if discounted to €250.
