This video was created with the avid watercolorist in mind to address common problems that we encounter.In Todays episode I develop a project started last week in a previous video. I address how the artist builds the painting using color, edges, shapes, and composition. This image comes from a recent visit abroad to Venice Italy. The painting is a nocturne of a cafe along the Zattare. In this video I develop a larger watercolor based on the tonal study and several “practices” Tacking problems of design, paint consistency, and spontaneity as I develop the painting
