(Est. 2015) "The Nerd Sanctuary," known officially as Morgan's Comics is a longstanding woman-owned business but all of the comic book characters on the outside of the shop have always been male. Denise Wyatt changed all of that when she chose to adorn this West Asheville vintage toy, children's toys, local art and bookstore with a strong lady comic book character shortly after the devastating destruction brought to Western North Carolina by Hurricane Helene (September 27th 2024).
