Easy Charcoal Grilled Whole Beef Tenderloin Recipe | How To Trim and Grill

Father’s Day is close, and you still have time to get to your local Tractor Supply to pick up a Weber Grill and all the necessary accessories to make the perfect Father’s Day meal. I teamed up with ‪@tractorsupply‬ to bring you this video.

I have partnered up with Tractor Supply to show you all the great Weber Grills and accessories available and their store and they have easy curb side or in store pickup available.

I am using an original Weber Kettle to cook up a whole Tenderloin Filet topped with a Blue Cheese Fondue and of course going extra a Charred Grilled Romaine Salad.

Here is a list of everything I used for this cook:
Weber Kettle The OG
Chimney Starter
Kingsford Charcoal Briquettes
Weber Tongs
Weber Starter Cubes
Whole Tenderloin Filet – seasoned with my favorite coffee rub.
Blue Cheese Fondue – ½ C Blue Cheese Crumbles & 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
Charred Romaine Salad – 2 heads romaine lettuce with drizzled EVOO on top then after cooled seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, and basil. EVOO & Balsamic Vinegar as the dressing and topped Parmesan Cheese.

First step in this cook is to get your Charcoal started with the Chimney starter and those lighter cubes. You can grab all these and charcoal at Tractor Supply.
Second step: trim and season the meat – prepare the lettuce by cutting heads in half and season with EVOO drizzled on top.
Third: place meat on in direct heat so that the charcoal flavor can penetrate the meat and slowly cook the meat. Then char the lettuce on each side for 2 minutes and then remove
Fourth: once meat reaches an internal temperature of 115 degrees Fahrenheit then its time to move it to direct heat but before we do that paint bacon grease on the outside of each steak and then char each side of the steak until internal temperature reaches 125 degrees and then remove it to rest for 10 minutes.
Fifth: place a cast iron skillet on the grates on direct heat and add blue cheese and cream and bring to a boil and then stir well and move to indirect heat to melt all the blue cheese crumbles.

Lastly, top the steaks once you’ve cut them with the blue cheese fondue
