SmallRig 2999 Cage: amzn.to/41cBq4K
Ulanzi SC-02 Suction Cup Mount: amzn.to/3EE7g1w

In this video I unbox and show the SmallRig Magic Arm and how I use it to virtually completely eliminate any vibration jitters from my camera (Sony A7s3) while driving.

In order to mount a camera on a vehicle and film with practically no vibration you need multiple mounting points on the camera. This is accomplished with the use of a cage like the SmallRig 2999 cage you see in this video. Using a cage gives you plenty of options for mounting that would otherwise be impossible. Along with the cage you'll need at least three different suction cup mounts. Three are needed to triangulate the mounts. You'll need to get creative here since most of these mounts are too short for at least one position. Because the front windshield is curved and angled there'll be one mount that needs a longer arm. This is where the SmallRig magic arm comes into play. I can replace the Ulanzi SC-02 arm that comes with the suction cup with the SmallRig Magic Arm and it gives me the extra length needed to reach one of the mounting holes on the cage.

You'll see the way I mounted the camera in this video but, of course, this is just one scenario. Hopefully this helps you to plan out your investment in mounting gear more efficiently.
