The little camera you sometimes see in my videos? That’s my son capturing all the close-up shots while my tripod holds down the wide angles.
It’s more than just content creation—it’s a way to bond and teach them life skills. Right now, we’re learning how to make sourdough bread together. I picked it up this summer thanks to a friend (you know who you are!), and now I’m passing it on. Someday, when my kids have homes of their own, they’ll not only know how to make it but also have these memories (and videos!) to look back on.
This journey has been about sharing what I love with my family and with all of you. Every comment and interaction feels like you’re part of our little circle, and for that, I’m so grateful.
Here’s my simple recipe:
50g starter
330g water
500g flour
9g salt
Mix everything together, then stretch and fold every hour for 3 hours. Let it proof in the fridge for 1-3 days. Bake in a Dutch oven at 450°F for 20 minutes (lid on), then 17 minutes at 425°F (lid off). 🙌
