The first 5 minutes of this movie are PERFECT

Jeff Nichols' film "Midnight Special" is a fantastic movie, but I think that the first five minutes are essentially perfect. They are a master class in economical, effective visual storytelling, imparting information and getting the audience interested in the story just through what is on screen.
