I have arrived in Manzhouli, a border city at the junction of China, Russia, and Mongolia. It is China’s largest land port city, covering an area of over 730 square kilometers, with a permanent population of about 150,000. This is a multi-ethnic border city where, in addition to the Han people, ethnic groups such as Mongolians and Hui also reside.
