Neuschwanstein castle could become a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Neuschwanstein Castle is an absolute MUST-SEE in Germany - and may soon be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The townspeople of the Bavarian municipality of Schwangau have voted: Neuschwanstein will apply to be included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in early 2024, along with the castles of Herrenchiemsee, Linderhof, and Schachen.⁠
