Fruita pickleball courts now open

Tuesday evening was the grand opening of the outdoor pickleball courts at the Fruita Community Center.

The new courts, located at Orr Park, were part of the Parks, Health, Recreation, Open Space master plan, where members of the community were able to voice what they wanted in their community.

There are four courts available. Two are ready for drop-in play and the other two for reservations.

You don't need a membership to play, all courts are available to the public.

You can make a reservation either by going to the front desk at the community center or online on their website.
