The prophet Jeremiah wept as he saw Judah totally overrun by gross immorality. However God revealed Himself as "Jehovah Tsidkenu," who would be their Righteousness. The fulfillment of this promise was ultimately fulfilled in the coming of Jesus Christ. For all of us who repent and believe in Jesus Christ, our sin and rebellion is covered in His righteousness. We are made new because of what He alone did for us!
